The XP ORX is designed as a lighter and more user-friendly version of the top-of-the-line XP Deus. It delivers many of the same features at a lower price, and is particularly well-suited for searching for coins, jewelry, collectibles and natural gold in challenging terrain. With high sensitivity and lightning-fast signal processing, the ORX can find objects that many other metal detectors miss.
Frequency and search functions
The accompanying 22HF search head (High Frequency, 22 cm) provides a wide frequency range from 13 to 81 kHz. This makes it very effective for detecting small and thin metal objects such as old coins and gold nuggets, even in ferrous or mineral-rich soil.
The difference between 22 cm and 28 cm search head: A 22 cm search head provides more precision, better sensitivity for small objects and easier handling in areas with a lot of iron and tight spaces. A 28 cm search head covers larger areas and provides better depth, but with somewhat lower precision on small finds. The 22HF is therefore a good all-round search head, especially for coins, jewelry and gold prospecting in demanding ground.
