Dual-Channel Shortie-82 Radio (VHF/UHF)
Developed in collaboration with Baofeng, the Shortie-82 is a duobander, a radio that can operate on two frequency bands: VHF and UHF. But this radio has more than just double the bandwidth. With several dual functions, the Shortie-82 is a very versatile device for radio communication in the air, on land and at sea.
Features of Shortie-82 radio
- PTT button: Change the transmission channel without having to manually change the channel.
- FM radio: Automatically switches from reception in the 76-108 MHz band when a signal appears on the selected VFO A and B channels.
- Dual frequency operation: Possibility to operate on selected band with two different frequencies (transmitting on main frequency + listening on auxiliary frequency).
- Channel blocking: Prevents transmission on busy channel.
