Gas blowback - How it works
Fill the magazine with softgun gas and 6mm BBs, insert the magazine into the weapon and take the charging grip. For each shot, the slide hits back which provides recoil and the slide locks in the rear position when the magazine is empty.
The original Glock 19 (G19) model is based on Glock's model 17 model but with a smaller frame, shorter barrel and lower magazine capacity. In terms of appearance, it is identical to the Glock 23, Glock 25 and Glock 32. The G19 model is manufactured by Austrian Glock and came on the market for the first time in 1982 and since then over 5 million of this model have been produced.
The Glock 19 model that you have here is a slightly more compact version of the well-known G17 model and comes standard with a 15-shot magazine compared to the 17 that you get on the G17 model. Other and larger magazines will also fit the G19 model, but then the magazine will stick out a little further. The G19 model is, among other things, used in Sweden by the Swedish Armed Forces, but then it goes under the name Pistol 88B.
