Wildcat is the rifle for you who want both a compact weapon and a long rifle barrel in one! This is your "go-to" rifle if you want it ready straight out of the box, easy to operate while delivering the same good precision as all the other FX rifles. MKIII comes, among other things with STX barrel, better air flow, barrel change.

The rest of the Wildcat design remains untouched as it is simply at such a high level that not much needs to be done to it. The Wildcat comes with several good features: A very precise internal air regulator, easy-to-load magazine system, nice and solid finish on all aluminum parts and a synthetic flask with a soft-touch finish.

MKIII - Caliber change - The difference from previous models

MKII builds on the ground-breaking concept of its predecessor "Wildcat", and adds the completely new concept from FX where you can easily replace the barrel in a coarser caliber if desired.
The replaceable barrel system works well on this rifle which is now lighter in weight.

Other upgrades found in the MKIII version are an upgraded loading mechanism and trigger and upgraded airflow to maintain exit velocity as you fire. The MKIII has a larger plenum and better valve which makes the rifle more air efficient, especially on larger calibers.

The magazine capacity is considerably larger in the MKIII version with a full 22-shot magazine compared to the previous 8-shot magazine. (FX Side-shot magazine, same as Crown and Dreamline)

Adjustment options

The adjustment options on a MKIII are built around the new rear adjustment wheel. The adjustment wheel is located at the very back of the lock box and gives you the opportunity to make rough adjustments as well as fine adjustments.
- 7 different settings for the hammer to coarse adjust
- The umbraco screw at the 8th number on the wheel allows you to fine tune the hammer tension further

This allows you to customize your Wildcat as much as, say, a Crown or Impact!

Smooth Twist Barrel X (STX)

The recently announced FX Crown is extraordinary; not only to have an abundance of customizations and tweaks, but also to lead within the enhancements of the "FX Smooth twist X barrel". "Smooth twist X barrel" is a fully rifled barrel where the rifling is pressed from the outside of the barrel. The barrel and rifle are designed so that it can be exchanged for other barrels with different rifling and caliber, depending on your needs.
