Barnett Tomcat™ is a high-quality compound bow developed specifically for children and teenagers aged 8 and up who want a proper introduction to archery. With its unique design, the bow grows along with the archer thanks to its adjustable draw length and draw weight, ensuring skill development, precision, and many years of shooting enjoyment.
Expert tip: The advantage of a compound bow like the Barnett Tomcat is that it uses a cam system. This provides up to 60–70% let-off when the string is drawn all the way back. This means the young archer doesn’t have to hold the full 17–22 lbs while aiming, making it significantly easier to keep the bow steady and hit the bullseye!
Comfort, control, and reduced vibration
The bow is designed with so-called parallel limbs (parallel limb design).This technical solution ensures that most of the energy and vibrations cancel each other out at the moment of release, rather than traveling into the shooter’s hand. This minimizes “hand shock” and provides a much more comfortable shooting experience.
Tomcat has been updated with the extremely rugged Mossy Oak Bottomland camouflage, giving the bow a professional and authentic look. For maximum comfort, it features a reinforced “soft-touch” grip, an adjustable arrow rest, and integrated rubber string rollers (soft-touch finger rollers) that protect your fingers without the need for a shooting glove or finger tab.
Fully set up with a fiber-optic sight
To ensure tight groupings on the target, the bow comes equipped with a 3-pin “Bright-Glo” fiber-optic sight. The light-gathering pins collect ambient light so the aiming points remain clearly visible even at dusk or on overcast days at the range.The box also includes a practical quiver that attaches directly to the bow, as well as two arrows so you can get started right away.

- Right-Handed: This is a bow for right-handed users. This means you hold the bow in your left hand and draw the string back with your right hand (and aim with your right eye).
