About NRR33:
NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) is laboratory-tested attenuation. NRR33 means that the earplugs can attenuate up to 33dB in the lab. The supplier states as an example that 92dBA is reduced to 59dBA (92−33=59). This may vary slightly depending on how the earplugs are inserted and the environment in which they are used.
Use
