Zippo Rietveld Day of the Dead – Colorful luxury art on a matte black surface
The Zippo Rietveld Day of the Dead Lighter combines Rick Rietveld’s unique surf art with the traditional Mexican celebration Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Printed on a classic case with a sleek, matte black finish, this model features a spectacular and colorful design of a skeleton mariachi surfing through a sea of flames.
Unique artist design: California-based artist Rick Rietveld is world-renowned for his surrealist pop art and surf culture-inspired designs. Zippo’s advanced Color Image printing technology ensures that the blazing flames and intricate skeleton details stand out with stunning depth and contrast against the pitch-black background.
Tactile matte black finish and windproof quality
This model is coated with a durable, matte powder finish. The all-black finish provides an incredible grip and effectively protects the lighter from visible fingerprints and minor everyday scratches. The case is made with a solid full-metal construction that gives it the familiar, robust Zippo weight in your hand.
Inside, it features the classic windproof insert. The integrated wind shield protects the wick, ensuring the flame burns reliably no matter how windy it is when you're outdoors. The lid, of course, delivers the familiar and satisfying Zippo click every time you open it.
Authentic American craftsmanship
This collectible lighter is proudly made at Zippo's own factory in Bradford, USA, and comes in an attractive gift box. The mechanism is fully refillable, and wear parts such as the wick and flint can easily be replaced when needed, making this a faithful companion for decades to come.
Recommended accessories for best performance:
- The lighter is delivered empty: For safety reasons during shipping, fuel lighters are sent completely without fuel. Remember to purchase original Zippo lighter fluid / fuel.
- Maintenance: For optimal, soot-free ignition, we recommend using only original Zippo flints and Zippo wicks.
