Old Ram Handmade Throwing Axe – Traditional Craftsmanship for Throwing Sports
Old Ram Handmade Throwing Axe is a solid and perfectly balanced throwing axe for those who appreciate genuine craftsmanship. With its hand-forged 1075 carbon steel blade and sturdy ash wood handle, this is a tool built to perform on the throwing range and last for generations.
Important maintenance: This axe is made of carbon steel (1075 Carbon Steel), which provides a superior edge but can rust if not properly cared for. We recommend wiping the blade after use and applying a thin layer of oil to preserve the beautiful Damascus finish and the quality of the steel.
Designed for strength and balance
The axe has an overall length of 12.5 inches, providing an ideal rotation when throwing at a target. The blade is 5 inches wide, with a 3.5-inch cutting edge featuring a "Fine Edge" that helps the axe bite firmly into the target. The Full Tang construction means the metal extends through the entire tool, eliminating weak points between the head and handle.
Aesthetics and Function
The dark blade with a Damascus pattern gives the axe an exclusive look, while the 8.75-inch ash wood handle provides a comfortable and secure grip. Ash is known for its combination of strength and flexibility, making it the perfect material for absorbing the shock when the axe hits the target. The included genuine leather sheath is handcrafted to match the quality of the axe.
Key Features:
- Forged Carbon Steel: 1075 steel provides an extremely durable and sharp edge.
