The Specna Arms SA-F05-RL FLEX™ Gen.2 isn’t just a regular upgrade – it’s a technological revolution on the field. By combining an ultra-lightweight, nylon-fiber-reinforced chassis with an extreme brushless motor and a magnetic computerized electronic trigger unit (ETU), you get a rifle that delivers instant trigger response, an incredibly high rate of fire, and unmatched accuracy straight out of the box!
Workshop insight: The absolute biggest upgrade in the Gen.2 FLEX™ is the installation of a brushless Dark Matter™ 27k motor (BLDC). Since this motor doesn’t use physical carbon brushes, it generates almost no heat, has minimal mechanical wear, runs incredibly quietly, and delivers tremendous torque.This means you get an instant trigger response and can use powerful upgrade springs without the rate of fire dropping. Keep in mind that the battery and charger are not included in the box, so make sure to purchase a powerful 11.1V LiPo battery with a Deans connector to get the most out of this system!
Important when starting up (Programming):
This rifle has an electronic trigger that must be activated when you connect the power. Do this by holding down the trigger for 5 seconds as soon as you plug in the battery, until you hear a few beeps. The weapon is now ready to use! If the rifle is stored without a battery for an extended period, it may reset—just repeat this 5-second process. If you want more advanced settings, a separate programming card with simple instructions is included in the box.
Computerized HAL™ system with magnetic sensors
Inside the rifle is the advanced HAL™ system – an electronic trigger unit (ETU) that reads your trigger pull using ultra-precise magnetic sensors (Hall effect) instead of traditional mechanical switches. This opens up a whole world of programmable features that you can easily set using the trigger:
- Binary trigger: The rifle fires one shot when you pull the trigger, and one more shot when you release it again – perfect for lightning-fast semi-auto fire!
- Adjustable sensitivity: Choose between 5 different levels (from 20% to 100% pressure) to customize exactly how light you want the trigger pull to be.
- Pre-Cocking: Partially cocks the spring in advance (6 levels), so the shot fires precisely the instant you touch the trigger.
- Programmable modes: Configure both Semi and Auto modes to fire controlled 3-round or 5-round bursts.
Patented TDC precision and rock-solid internals
To ensure your BBs fly straight and far every time, the Gen.2 has been upgraded with the patented TDC Magnus™ Hop-Up chamber. This Top-Down-Center system applies perfectly even pressure to the Helium™ Flat Hop rubber, eliminating side spin and delivering an extremely stable trajectory. The barrel is a 6.03mm stainless steel precision barrel.
The whole setup is powered by the reinforced Æther™ Gearbox. It can handle heavy use and is approved for powerful M140 upgrade springs. Thanks to the smart ESA™ quick-change system, you can replace the mainspring in under a minute without having to take the entire mechanism apart.
Modern M-LOK handguard and minimalist Light Ops stock
Externally, the rifle is built from a matte, durable, textured polymer for minimal weight (just 2,270 grams), while vital parts such as the flash hider, outer barrel, tube, controls, and mounting points are made of solid metal. The handguard follows the modern M-LOK standard for easy attachment of grips, lights, or lasers. At the rear is the minimalist Light Ops stock, with rubberized grip surfaces on the cheek rest and a curved butt pad that fits snugly against the shoulder.

IMPORTANT BEFORE FIRST START-UP: When connecting the battery for the very first time, hold the trigger in "SAFE" mode for approx. 5 seconds to activate and calibrate the electronic HAL™ module.
