FN Herstal SCAR-L Platinum AEG – Officially licensed and fully upgraded elite model from Cyma with integrated EShooter ETU
Ready to upgrade your playstyle with one of the most modular and iconic rifles in modern military history? The FN Herstal SCAR-L Platinum AEG is an uncompromising, heavy-duty top-tier model. With its full-metal upper receiver and brand-new, factory-installed EShooter electronics, this rifle delivers extreme reliability and responsiveness on the field!
Workshop insight: Cyma’s “Platinum” series is highly respected for its powerful internals, and this SCAR-L model is no exception. It is equipped with a full-metal Version 2 Platinum gearbox with quick-change spring system (QD). What truly sets this version apart from older models is the integrated EShooter ETU/MOSFET.This electronic trigger gives you an incredibly crisp and consistent trigger response, protects the battery from damage, and ensures lightning-fast cycling whether you’re shooting semi-auto or full-auto.
Realistic construction and superior ergonomics
Just like the real military weapon developed for the US Special Operations Command, this airsoft replica features a solid full-metal upper receiver and a durable, weight-saving polymer lower receiver. This gives the rifle a realistic weight of 3400 grams and fantastic balance.
The rifle is equipped with the famous SCAR folding stock. The stock can be adjusted to 6 different length positions, features an adjustable cheek rest for a perfect sightline, and can fold completely to the side of the rifle. With the stock folded, the length is reduced to just 530 mm, making transport incredibly easy and giving you a huge advantage in tight CQB buildings.
Tactical specifications and full customization
Along the entire top, there is a continuous 21mm Picatinny rail with included flip-up sights that can easily be folded down when mounting a red dot sight. The handguard has integrated metal side rails and a bottom rail, ready for lights, lasers, or foregrips. The rifle also features an ambidextrous magazine release and integrated sling attachment points at both the front and rear.
The included metal magazine is a Hi-Cap magazine that holds a full 300 rounds. Since the SCAR-L platform uses standard M4 magazine compatibility, the rifle works flawlessly with magazines from well-known brands such as Specna Arms, Tokyo Marui, Matrix, G&G, and similar brands.
Useful information about the FN SCAR-L Platinum:
- Battery connection: The wiring is located at the back of the stock with a standard Mini-Tamiya connector. We recommend using a split/butterfly 9.6V NiMH battery or a compact 7.4V Li-Po battery (battery and charger not included).
- Accessory threads: The front flash hider is mounted on standard 14mm CCW threads, allowing you to quickly upgrade with a suppressor or tracer unit.
- Hop-Up system: The rifle features a fully adjustable Hop-Up unit that can easily be fine-tuned by pulling the charging handle back (we recommend high-quality 0.25g BBs for optimal accuracy).
