The Wildcat is the rifle for those who want both a compact weapon and a long rifle barrel in one! This is your "go-to" rifle if you want it ready right out of the box, easy to operate while delivering the same great precision as all the other FX rifles. MKIII comes, among other things, with STX runs, better airflow, race change.
The rest of the Wildcat design remains untouched as it is simply at such a high level that there is not much that needs to be done with it. Wildcaten comes with several good features: a very precise internal air regulator, easy-to-charge magazine system, great and solid finish on all aluminum parts and a synthetic flask with soft-touch finish.
MKIII - Caliber change - Difference from previous models
The MKII builds on the groundbreaking concept of its predecessor "Wildcat", and adds the brand new concept from FX where you can easily replace the barrel in a coarser caliber if desired.
The interchangeable barrel system works well on this rifle, which is now lighter in weight.
Other upgrades you will find in the MKIII version are an upgraded charging mechanism and trigger and upgraded airflow to maintain muzzle velocity as you fire. Mkiii has a larger plenary and better Valve which makes the rifle more air efficient, especially on larger caliber.
The magazine capacity is considerably larger in the MKIII version with a full 22-shot magazine compared to the previous 8-shot magazine. (FX Side-shot magazine, same as Crown and Dreamline)

Adjustment options
The adjustment options on a MKIII are built around the new rear adjustment wheel. The adjustment wheel is located completely at the back of the lock box and allows you to coarse and fine -tune.

This allows you to adjust your Wildcat just as much as, say, a Crown or Impact!
Smooth Twist Barrel X (STX)
The recently announced FX Crown is extraordinary; not only for having an abundance of customizations and tweaks, but also for leading within the improvements of the "FX Smooth twist X barrel". "Smooth Twist X Barrel" is a fully rifted race where the rifling is pressed from the outside of the race. The race and rifle are designed to be replaced with other races with different rifling and caliber, depending on your needs.
The Wildcat MKII's improvements only add to the already fantastic reputation FX airguns have!
