Laws and regulations
You must be over 18 years of age to buy and own an air gun in Norway. Air guns must be transported in a bag or suitcase, and they are not allowed to be used in public. Shooting must only take place in suitable areas, with permission from the landowner or police.

- 4.5mm pellets is most common for air rifles – provides high precision.
- BBs mainly used in air guns.
- CO2 cartridges or compressed air (PCP) is required for many modern weapons.
Proper protective equipment
Always use safety glasses that meets the requirements (f.eks. ANSI Z87+/EN166). This also applies to spectators. Mesh masks and face shields are recommended for extra safety.
Useful accessories
- Cleaning kit and silicone oil – important for maintenance and lifespan.
- Flashers and bullet catchers – makes shooting safe and targeted.
- Armory – ensures proper storage at home.
