Hvordan bli en heftig airsoft sniper! - Game-On.no

How to become a fierce airsoft sniper!

To become an airsoft sniper, you need a sniper and some training. To become a really good airsoft sniper, you need patience, focus and time. In addition to understanding and knowing how your equipment works and having good technique. You are the safety of your team, taking out the opponents without them (hopefully) knowing where you are! The role of sniper is usually someone who is a more experienced player, but that doesn't mean it can't be you! Practice makes perfect!

In this article you will find our recommended softgun snipers and tips and tricks. Both for those who are advanced and for those who are beginners!

Sniper tips and tricks!

  1. Camouflage. You don't want your opponent to see you! Always look around, but we recommend a ghillie suit if you're out in the woods playing. Just remember when dressing that you'll be carrying the suit (it can get heavy with a lot of gear) and that it can get quite hot in the summer. All kinds of camouflage can be found here!
  2. Location. You should be able to last the longest without being spotted! While it's cool to look like a bush in the forest, finding the right location is more important. Having an overview of your surroundings and your team is important, as well as being well hidden.
  3. Pack lightly. You want to be light on your feet, so don't bring a lot of dead weight. For example, you don't always need to carry a sidearm. It's easy to get caught on bushes and other things, in addition to weighing a bit.
  4. Breath. When you breathe in and out, you move your body and this affects how you shoot. Therefore, it is important to be as tense as possible. Practice different breathing techniques and find the one that suits you best.

Choose the right airsoft sniper and equipment

We all have different preferences in terms of what we like as well as the size of our wallet! The most important thing will be to look for a sniper that you can upgrade the spring, hop-up and precision barrel on. There are few that come upgraded straight out of the box!

Furthermore, it will be necessary to choose the right weight for the bullets. A weight between 0.40g - 0.46g will be optimal for sniper rifles. Another thing to consider is how powerful the sniper is. As airsoft clubs and games have rules for fps. For bolt action snipers this is around 450 - 550 fps in Norway. Sniper BB's can be found here!

For sights, we recommend that you buy a riflescope with 4x magnification. Because you want to be able to see as much of the field as possible at a time, in addition to seeing where the bullet is going and who you are shooting. Greater magnification than 5x you will not be able to see where the bullet is going. All our riflescopes can be found at here!

Game-On recommends!

1. Novritch - SSG10 A2 Airsoft Sniper - M160 (2.8 Joule) and Novritch - SSG10 A1 Airsoft Sniper - M160 (2.8 Joule)

First on the list that we recommend is Novritsch's! It's not for nothing! Novritsch is one of the world's most famous airsoft players who has started his own brand! As they write themselves "By players - for players". The two snipers we have exhibited here are similar in their innards and performance, but the SSG10 A2 is a more advanced, heavy, tactical rifle with a stock with adjustable cheek rest. It is also possible to upgrade them by changing the springs. The rifles then give you around 730 fps (5 joules) with 0.20g bullets!

2. McMillan M40A3 Sniper - Proline Springer

Number two on the list is highly recommended! It is a 1/1 scale replica of the reliable and United Marine Corps approved sniper. M40A4 Proline. Good upgrade options and straight out of the box it shoots 420 fps!

3. Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Specs Sniper - Springer

Next up on the list is of course a Tokyo Marui! With an upgraded VSR-10 model! It has an fps of 310 which may not be the most powerful, but it is one of the most accurate snipers you can get your hands on!

For beginners

If you are new to snipers, we recommend that before you go and buy one that costs thousands of dollars, maybe try a cheaper one first. But just so you know, it pays to go up in price on snipers, as they usually shoot more accurately! But as your first sniper, these three work very well!

1. Steyr SSG 69 P2 Softgun Sniper Rifle Springer

This is one of the most popular sniper rifles in this price range! Out of the box it measures 310 fps and 0.9 joules with 0.20g bullets. It has good weight and is balanced which makes it a dream to shoot with. In addition, it can be easily upgraded with many options!

2. McMillan M40A3 - Softgun Sniper with Rails

This is a cheaper version of the one we recommended above (McMilan M40A3 Sniper - Proline Springer) and it works incredibly well for that price! Reliable, powerful and durable sniper that is perfect for a beginner! Muzzle velocity of 450 fps and 1.9 joules.

3. FN Herstal - SPR A2 Spring-Operated Softgun Sniper

Last on the list here is a fully licensed FN Herstal Special Police Rifle sniper rifle airsoft replica! The name itself promises something good! This affordable goodie comes with a muzzle velocity of 445 fps and 1.83 joules!
