Makes softgun hurt?

Are you thinking about starting with softgun, but are a little worried about whether it will hurt? Don't worry! In some cases it can hurt, but usually you hardly feel it. If you also dress properly with clothes, you will hardly feel it.

Most clubs have restrictions on how powerful a softgun can be, usually somewhere between 300 fps and 350 fps. All softguns are tested before you are allowed to use them at a club, if they are over you are not allowed to use them. There is also a rule if you get close enough to a person you say "PANG" instead to shoot.

How does it feel to be shot?

10% of all shots you don't feel at all. 85% of the shots feel like someone pricking you with a finger. While 5% of the shots hurt. The pain goes away relatively quickly, around 2 minutes. You may get a bruise and in the worst cases a wound. But that means that as much as 95% of all shots don't hurt! We can live with those odds. If you have played paintball, it can be compared to paintball feeling a little more like a blow, while softgun feels more like a bee sting.

How to protect yourself from getting hurt

The most important thing you can do is wear glasses,

mask and gloves. The worst places to get shot are the face, fingers, and inner thighs. It is It is very important to protect your teeth from getting shot, you don't want to ruin your dollar smile! We therefore recommend that you wear a mesh mask or a full-covering mask and not just a piece of cloth. On your hands, you should wear full-covering gloves, not half-fingered ones, as it is quite painful to get hit on the fingers! Helmet is also very wise to use, all dedicated players have it. Not only can it hurt to get shot in the head, but you can fall and hit your head! So at many large softgun events and clubs it is a requirement that you wear a helmet.

Other things to consider are if you are going to play outside in the woods, it might be okay to solid clothing as bushes and trees can scratch you up, in addition to protecting you from bullets. The inner thigh is a sensitive spot and it hurts to get hit there, but again it's not that often you get hit there.
