Ever shot steel BBs on a hard surface? We hope not, because then you've probably experienced how they ricochet around.
H&N has come up with a smart solution to the problem. Copper-coated lead bullets that flatten when they hit something hard, greatly reducing the risk of ricochet.
The lead in the center of the bullet ensures that it is soft enough to deform upon impact, but the smooth surface of the copper ensures that the bullet is hard enough not to be damaged by sitting in a spring-loaded magazine.
These bullets pose a considerably lower risk of ricochet than regular steel bullets. With less ricochet, it is both safer to shoot and the bullets litter a smaller area than if they had bounced around uncontrollably.
