Hvilken BB vekt og type skal du velge til softgun'en din? - Game-On.no

Which BB weight and type should you choose for your softgun?

What is the difference between Bio and Non-Bio bullets? What is traceable? And which weight is best for your airsoft replica?  There are many different 6mm BB's to choose from! The answer  you can find it here!

Organic vs. Non-Organic

Bio BB's are made of a biodegradable material that usually dissolves in nature within a few months. Non-Bio are made of plastic and take many years to dissolve. That is why many clubs/courses require you to use bio balls with them. Both because they want to save the environment, but also because they don't want fields full of BB's. If you play indoors, however, there is not much difference whether you use bio or non-bio. Bio BB's need moisture to dissolve and you don't have that inside, so they have to be picked up there anyway. If you are wondering if bio balls work as well as non-bio, the answer is yes, as long as you buy recommended brands and of good quality. If they are of poor quality, a powder can get on the BB's that can cause them to get stuck in the barrel and can cause your weapon to "jam". If you are an environmental enthusiast, are one of those who follow rules and recommendations or simply prefer bio balls, you will find our entire selection here! Below you will see selected bio BB's!

Traceable

Tracer bullets are designed to glow in the dark! These work best with a tracer device that looks like a silencer. It uses a powerful flash to charge the tracer bullets with light, making the bullets glow! We have bullets in both red and green.

As you can see, it shines at your opponent when you shoot! It can also seem a bit "scary" to your opponent when he sees that someone is shooting at him. These BB's work best in twilight, darkness or night. Our entire selection of tracer bullets can be found here here! Below you will see a selection of tracer BB's and tracer units!

Weight

So on to what is perhaps the most important thing when choosing BB's - weight! Even though it is often stated on the softguns  which BB's weight you should use, it is possible to vary slightly depending on which  need  and which ones  preferences you have. We have bullets in the weight class 0.12g to 0.49g. Which weight type you choose depends on which weapon you use, initial velocity and where you will be playing (indoors/outdoors and distance from the target).  Many clubs have  restrictions on output speed, so  By using heavier bullets you can get a lower muzzle velocity and thus be allowed to use the replica you want.  Generally speaking, when you are going to play, you want lighter BB's  can handle a higher initial speed, but will lose speed much faster than heavier ones. If you are going to play indoors, you can do fine with slightly lighter balls as there is no wind to affect where the ball hits. We usually recommend from 0.12g to 0.25g for indoor games. For outdoor games, you can  By using heavier bullets you get better distance and accuracy. We recommend that you use 0.25g, 0.28g or 0.32g. Especially if the target you are going to hit is over 20 meters. Most AEGs are modified for use with  0.20g to 0.28g. Bullets that are even heavier 0.36g and up work best with Bolt Action Snipers. Below you will see a simplified list of which BB weights to use for muzzle velocity measured in fps.

Brands and price

We carry our own brand which is of good quality. If you want to buy other brands we recommend Novritch, Longbow, G&G and H&K among others. There are many good  so we recommend you try a few different brands to find your favorite for your replica. There is also a slight difference in price compared to  weight and brands, but in general we recommend that you spend a little extra (and not buy from a market in e.g.Turkey) for optimal performance! Poor quality bullets give poor precision, can be destroyed in the course and in the worst case, destroy your airsoft!

It is possible to make minor upgrades to your airsoft/softgun that will make it more compatible with heavier BBs. Read our Guide - How to upgrade airsoft/softgun? for tips and tricks!
